Performing Privacy is a practice of existing in an inbetween state of sharing and withholding and asserting privacy while divulging.  A solitary performance in which translated lines from a final, intimate correspondence are read aloud. With each line, a corresponding match is struck and placed in a clay disk to burn for the duration of the performance. Existing in the inbetween space and maintaining a level of privacy, the only documentation of the performance exists as still images captured on black and white film.

Its final iteration is yet to be realized.
